Makgadikgadi Pans is home to the second largest zebra migration in the world, after the Great Migration in Kenya’s Masai Mara and Tanzania’s Serengeti. Every year, up to 25,000 zebras move in herds across the plains – from the Okavango to the Makgadikgadi Pans towards the Boteti river, a journey of more than 150 miles.
