4 days / 3 nights

Day 1 : Start from the private concession of Palmwag where you will enjoy breathtaking landscapes in a mountainous area teeming with game (including the famous desert elephants, zebras, giraffes and endangered black rhinos). Depending on game activities, the camp will be erected in the wilds of the Hunkab Spring area, where you can enjoy an open fire.

Day 2 : Enjoy a short hike to inspect the previous night’s game activities around the camp. Continue your journey via the Mudorib River to the Hoanib River, a dry riverbed densely overgrown with nutritious acacia trees, which provide an essential source of food for desert adapted elephants. Here on game drives, you will venture through the valleys and other delights of this natural paradise. That night, you will camp near one of the tributaries of the Hoanib River.

Day 3 : Travel into a northerly direction along the Skeleton Coast with a good chance of viewing plain games and desert elephants. Visit a Himba village then enjoy a drive, plus a sundowner beverage, along the beautiful Hoarusib river. Overnight at the Purros community campsite.

Day 4 : Drive through the desert in a easterly direction back to Palmwag Lodge. Visit the village of Sesfontein and its fort and enjoy a refreshing swim in the warmwater spring at Ongongo. End of the tour.
